We saw a great deal to stay in Jasper, so we didn't pass it down. In the morning, we wanted a quick brunch which meant it wasn't too busy. We walked right into Cafe Mondo
and it is right on Patricia Street with street parking nearby.
My husband loves soup and we went for a late enough breakfast that they had soup! Their soup of the day was a Beef Vegetable Soup
and it was really amazing hearty soup.
I ordered their Breafast Wrap
and it wasn't bad. It was a wrap with egg, tomatoes, onion and cheese with smoked salmon. This wrap is like a smoked salmon pizza on a pita bread! It tasted amazing and they were very generous with the smoked salmon.
My husband ordered their Croissant Toastie
which is a ham and cheese sandwich in a croissant. It is an amazing little breakfast that is delicious! The croissant was really fresh, with a nice light and crispy exterior and a soft and buttery interior.
Overall, the brunch was delicious and it smells amazing! The food came out quick and the service was friendly! This was the perfect last stop before heading home!
616 Patricia St,
We were wandering around Mission area when I got a little hungry. We walked into Purple Perk
as their special at the door was very interesting to me at that time!
I ordered a nice cup of Latte
to enjoy during my quiet visit to Purple Perk. The coffee was rich and quite delicious and it was really perfect for a chilly morning!
The special of the day was Spaghetti Bolognese
which was a huge plate of food, with garlic toast, the plate was pretty much covered with spaghetti and that was covered with an awesome meat sauce! The food here was excellent as the pasta was cooked to perfection and the meat sauce was saucy, meaty and tasty!
This was a really amazing place to either sit and chill, or grab a bit for a meal or snack! The options here are endless and the coffee and food was delicious!

I was in downtown Edmonton one morning and thought I needed some sugar for breakfast. I walked by Zenari's
a few times before I just wandered inside to order some food! This little place is located right across from Holt Renfrew on the main level. It's pretty easy to find!
I decided I was going to eat cake for breakfast, so I got myself a piece of their Carrot Cake
which came in a large slice. It wasn't cheap, but it was a decent size! The cake was pretty delicious with the perfect amount of cream cheese icing!
Then, to complete my meal, I got myself a Mocha
which seems to be the perfect coffee break meal that I turned into a breakfast! The mocha was good, although not different from anywhere else - so it was just costly!
Overall, a neat dining experience! It was quick and simple and I can see lunch rush being extraordinary! The prices are slightly high for a coffee place treat but quite reasonable if you were stopping in for lunch and have pasta, sandwiches, etc!
