Tim Hortons – Almond Pastry
I’m actually really like November this year! We have the fall treats, relatively decent weather for this time of year in Calgary and best of all, Tim Hortons Almond specialty treats like their Almond Pastry
These pastries are extremely light and fluffy, and it smells like almond without even eating it! Just cutting through the pastry to expose the inside was the sound of light crispy layers breaking through and the aroma of the almond fills my senses! It’s to die for and I wish these almond treats were here to stay year round.
Inside the pastry there seems to be some Almond Jelly filling or what I think may even be apricot jelly. It’s a great treat that is light and perfect. Apparently, Quebec residents get to enjoy this pastry year round, and makes me want to go there for a trip when I’m craving something so delicate and tasty! This is a pastry that isn’t overly sweet as almond is never an overly sweet ingredient. It’s subtle but decadent.
