McDonalds – McCafe
Wow, I was so excited to finally hear that McCafe has made it to Canada, but only in a selective few McDonalds. Back in 2009, I tried it in the states, and loved it – and has been looking for it at McDonalds, everywhere I go! The wait seems to be almost over!
I found the nearest location to me that has McCafe, and it’s just not where I want to be. I was a little disappointed when I finally got in to see the selection and I guess the crowd that always seems to be at this location is a major turn off.
I ordered a McCafe Mocha, and it was okay, the coffee was really strong, and not much flavour at all. There was a massive amount of whipped cream under the lid as well, which probably helped tone down the rich flavour.
We also ordered a McCafe Iced Mocha, which was quite interesting and distinguishing actually. It’s taking the mocha and putting it on ice.
As it’s all said and done, I think I will be back, but for the hot selections. Until they have the entire McCafe menu where I can get a frappuccino, I don’t think I’ll do a cold one. And, this location is probably out of the question for me!
